The Mother Iggy price surged 18% in the last 24 hours to trade at $0.183 as of 03:38 a.m. EST on trading volume that dropped 20% to $48 million.

This comes as Australian rapper Iggy Azalea escalates a clash with Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin.

Azalea questioned what Buterin does with the gas fees Ethereum users pay to transact on the network. That came after Buterin last week criticized celebrity tokens like Azalea’s newly-launchedMOTHERtoken for their lack of utility and absence of a greater-good purpose.

“I’m not mad at this man’s opinion,” she said. “Whatever. I question what you are doing with gas money.It’s so rich of you to have an opinion on charities and hospitals, whatever, but let’s talk about the gas fees.”

After hitting its all-time high (ATH) of $0.2306 on June 6, the Mother Iggy price retraced to the support level of around $0.11, data from GeckoTerminal shows.

MOTHER looks poised to soar, with the token price trading above both the 50-day and 200-day Simple Moving Averages (SMAs), which is a confirmation of the bullish potential.

Moreover, the Relative Strength Index (RSI) is trading above the 50-midline level as it hurtles towards the 70-overbought region, a signal that investors need to buy more as there is intense buying pressure.

The Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) also opens up positions for optimistic investors to buy, with the MACD line (blue) crossing above the signal line (orange), forming a bullish crossover. With the green bars starting to form over the neutral line, MOTHER is set to rally through positive momentum.

The Average Directional Index (ADX) trades up, above level 25, currently at 29, showing that MOTHER is currently on a positive momentum.

The Mother Iggy price analysis on the 1-hour chart shows a bullish bias, with the bulls aiming at pushing the token towards a new ATH at $0.35, capitalizing on the ascending triangle pattern.

However, if the bears exert pressure at this level, the price may retrace back to the support level of around $0.12, which coincides with the 200-day SMA.
